A Note From Our Founder
I can’t believe 2025 is already a wrap. Looking back, it’s wild to think AuraMine has gone from a scribble on my notebook to something people in the industry actually recognise and want to talk about.
I had a real "pinch me" moment this month at the Resourcing Tomorrow conference. I was walking around the conference when someone stopped me because they recognised AuraMine from seeing our updates on LinkedIn. It was such a cool reminder that the message we’re pushing about mine closure is actually landing.
A massive thank you to the mentors who guided us through the Venture Catalyst Challenge this year. It really helped us get our story straight and sharpen how we think about the business. That momentum is now carrying into the next chapter, as we’ve been selected for the Creative Destruction Lab Nurture Programme starting next month, joining other mining startups to work with an incredible group of mentors who live and breathe mining, critical minerals, and scale-up journeys.
To every advisor, partner, and friend who supported us this year - thank you. 2026 is going to be big.

Key Highlights
December Highlights
This month AuraMine showed up in some pretty special rooms, from talking about the future of sustainability inside the House of Lords at the Net Zero 50 reception to swapping ideas with climate and digital leaders who are wrestling with real-world transition challenges. Those conversations reinforced that moving from slogans to practical tools is where the real work (and the real opportunity) now sits.
At Resourcing Tomorrow, we spent a few intense days in London bumping into people from every corner of the mining world, from exploration geologists to ESG leads and project financiers. What came through again and again was how urgently the industry needs better ways to understand closure risk and long-term impact in practice, and it was energising to see AuraMine talked about as part of that emerging toolkit rather than just another early-stage idea.

On the Horizon
Building Towards Impact in 2026
2025 was all about laying foundations, testing assumptions, and learning from as many conversations as we could. 2026 is about taking those lessons into the field with real deployments and sharpening the product around the problems that matter most.
CDL Minerals & deep tech mentorship
Early next year we’ll be diving into the CDL Minerals Nurture Programme, using its mentor network to pressure-test our roadmap and keep AuraMine grounded in what the mining and critical minerals ecosystem actually needs.Projects with early partners
We’re kicking off a handful of projects with operators and consultancies to explore how better closure cost modelling and financial assurance workflows can plug into their existing processes.
Product refinement & new features
Insights from CDL and these projects will feed directly into the next versions of AuraMine, helping us double down on the highest-impact use cases and get the platform ready for a broader rollout.
